David, so WHAT is the unified goal that "will help us defend and promote the stuff we care about well into the 22nd century, get Mars colonized and make space expansion and irreversible trend"?

Is it fighting the woke movement and political correctness?

I openly admit that I find some of the excesses of the politically correct wokies very annoying and disturbing.

But I see that the young really care about social justice and the environment. Some of them go over the line, but that they deeply care about these things is a FACT. And, you know, one day we'll be dead and they'll be still here, so they'll win.

So instead of fighting them, shouldn't we try and persuade them that space expansion is NOT the enemy of social justice and environmental protection, but something that will help protecting disadvantaged people and the environment?

For example Elon Musk (among others) said that offshoring heavy polluting industry to space will protect the Earth against our growing energy needs, which is a very good argument that we can use.
