Hi Jackie.

My answer to the question “What do you hope to achieve or prove with your research?” is that I hope to persuade myself (and, through my writings, other people like me) of the plausibility of Christianity.

I guess the difference between us is that “the simple message from the Bible” is NOT satisfying and NOT enough for me. I am unable to believe in revealed truth without persuading myself of its plausibility. Or in other words, my heart is unable to believe if my mind doesn’t. God made me this way, and put me on this path.
